ABOUT
Craig Daniel has been performing live popular music in the New Jersey area for the past ten years. He began the journey learning the rudiments of music on the saxophone, and then branching into voice, guitar, bass, and percussion. Craig Daniel performed in various original bands early on, like most, pursuing recording contracts and such.... but began performing popular "cover" music after the original bands dissolved. Still continuing to write original music, Craig built a repertoire of popular songs that he could perform for different types of venues. He performed solo as well as fronted his band at many popular New Jersey entertainment establishments, as well as private events.
Today, now performing over 500 cover songs, Craig offers live entertainment in the form of an energetic solo show or band ensemble. Craig performs many styles of popular music from the past five decades such as rock, pop, rap, eightees, country, oldies, alternative, new wave, and more.
Craig has performed venues dynamically ranging from small bars and lounges to opening concerts for national recording artists in New Jersey's largest clubs. With 15 years experience in lead vocals, guitar, and various instruments, Craig now entertains audiences with his unique combination of live popular music, comedic improv, and audience participation.
Craig Daniel says he tries very hard to create a show that offers the songs people know and love, but also the songs people forgot they loved. Craig incorporates audience interaction into each show by offering guests the chance to come up and sing a song. Requests are never a problem as guests are invited to browse Craig's repertoire at each event and essentially make the setlist. But most of the time, audiences enjoy singing and dancing along to their favorite songs as Craig performs them with some twists and turns along the way.
